May // A Month In Photos

May has been absolutely smashing - TWO Bank Holiday weekends, a Royal Wedding, glorious sunshine and lots of catch ups with friends.

I actually managed to take the camera out a lot this month so I thought I'd share some of the highlights with you before we move into June.

The first BH was so bloomin' hot it felt like we'd actually popped off on our holibobs! Matt and I spent a day at the seafront, taking photos and eating ice cream.

Then we swang by Red Roaster for a few cocktails. This place has gorgeous interiors - including a huge marble bar 👍

On the way home we stopped by Iceland and grabbed some of the new No Bull Burgers (which were 👌) and made the most of a sunny afternoon in the garden.

On the Sunday I packed up a picnic and we found a private spot in Barcombe Mills, where we wasted the day away before meeting friends for a pub quiz.

This month I attended my first blogger event and got chatting to some lovely local blogging gals over a few cocktails at The Plotting Parlour ❤

And I spent a perfect evening in with this babe!

Our friends came down to visit from Norwich and (after watching the Royal Wedding) we spent the day being tourists in Brighton and took them up the i360 for these #viewgoals!

I had not one but TWO work celebrations - and both involved The Gin Tub.

This BH weekend just gone Matt and I spent the day wandering around the South Downs and feeding the geese at Falmer Pond. Read more about that here.

We also went to see a Shitfaced Showbiz production of The Wizard of Oz at The Warren - and of course we had to get a photobooth strip!

We spent a lovely afternoon strolling around Lewes before meeting friends for dinner.

And I took Matt for his first taste of the vegan pizza at Fatto a Mano. We sat outside in the sun sipping wine and, honestly, we could have been abroad. Brighton is such a babe in summer.

We also celebrated Lincoln's (estimated) third birthday with lots of cat cuddles.

All in all May was a pretty good month and I can't wait for all the fun we have planned for June. I'm really hoping the sun comes back so we can spend more evenings on the beach and weekends exploring.

What did you get up to in May?
