British Airways i360 // Brighton

Look at all that blue!

I have now been up Brighton's British Airways i360 three times. While it is quite a quick trip up and back down, the view is worth it every time for me.

I stumbled across these photos while scrolling through my phone and realised I hadn't shared them yet.

If you're a local, I'm sure you've already taken the ride to the top to get a glimpse (and camera roll full) of those views. And if you haven't then you really should. It's so much more than just a giant phallic piece of metal dominating our beautiful coastline.

It's 162-metres high with a 360 degree observation pod that takes visitors to the top, offering panoramic views of the the coast and Brighton city as you ascend; on a clear day you can see for miles. It's also an opportunity to get a birds eye view of the beach - yep, this is how us Brightonians look to the seagulls, right before they shit on us!

Gorgeous views and a champagne bar on-board? It's a must for any Brighton bucketlist.

Have you been? What did you think?

*little tip* if you are a Brighton resident you can become a member for £1 and this gets you half price tickets for a year. Even if you only plan on going once, it's still cheaper to buy membership.
