Girls Weekend in Dublin

Last November my bestie and I decided to get away for a few days of sight-seeing, boozing, and, y'know, just general girly time. Dublin seemed like the best place for all of this so we booked a flight, packed our weekend bags and headed for the land of sexy accents.

The Spire of Dublin.

Our first stop was the Guinness Brewery to see how the black stuff is made. Guinness wasn't vegan at the time of my trip so I didn't get to try any – but judging by my friend's face I didn't miss out on much! It's definitely still worth a visit even if you don't particularly like the stuff; it's pretty interesting and the views from the bar are spot on.

Views over Dublin from the Guinness Storehouse bar. I'm such a sucker for a good view!

The highlight of our trip has to be the Vikings Splash Tour. Getting into scary-viking character, we were encouraged to growl at pedestrians as we zoomed around the city, taking in the sights, before the truck turned into a boat and we took to the River Liffey. I seriously recommend this if you don't have much time in Dublin, it offers a great overview to the city.

Ha'Penny Bridge.

Many, many drinks were consumed in the Temple Bar area. When in Dublin, and all! The bars were crowded, everyone singing along to the band's music. It was like a scene straight out of P.S. I Love You. Make sure you order a whisky mixed with Ireland's famous red lemonade.

Such a lovely trip with this beaut <3
Dublin, you were fantastic! I'll definitely be returning in the future. Keep a cold one reserved for me would you?
